Go far.
Move quickly.
Hadley Point Capital is a Philadelphia-based venture firm providing investment and advisory to entrepreneurs who refuse to choose between distance and speed.
We back passionate founders with market-changing or market-evolving ideas, in areas where our operating experience materially helps. $25k to $500k checks at pre-seed and seed.
Who we back
We invest at the intersection of three things.
All three matter. We pass when only two of the three are present, regardless of how strong any single one is.
01
A founder with conviction
Passionate, committed, with a real edge. The kind of person who is going to build this whether we fund them or not.
02
An idea that changes a market
Not incremental. The company doesn't have to invent a new category, but it does have to change how a real market works or evolve where the market is going.
03
A place where we can help
We back founders where our operating experience moves the needle. That might be product, operations, hiring, or the hard calls most founders face alone.
We do not invest in deep biotech, hardware-first companies, or crypto.
How we work
Active partners, not passive checks.
We move fast and we say no clearly. First call to decision in under two weeks.
We lead rounds and we follow rounds. Either works. What matters is whether we're the right partner for the company at this stage.
We like to embed with a board seat where we can earn it, which means contributing in ways that shorten your time to scale or reduce the equity you sell to get there. If we can't move the needle from the seat, we don't take one.
After the wire, we are reachable on the channels founders actually use. Slack, Signal, email. Not LinkedIn.
